Who controls the data?
Essential Distribution Kft. determines the purposes and means of processing in relation to the website and partner applications.
Partner enquiries
We use the data submitted through the form solely to make contact, respond to the enquiry and prepare a potential business relationship.
Purpose
Identifying the applicant, understanding the partnership request, communicating, preparing an offer and taking steps towards a potential cooperation.
Data processed
Name, email address, company or brand name, selected topic, message content and confirmation that the Privacy Policy has been read. Name, email address, topic and the confirmation are required for submission; other fields are optional where indicated by the form.
Legal basis
Taking steps at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for business representatives, our legitimate interest in handling the enquiry and establishing a B2B relationship under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Access and recipients
Essential Distribution personnel authorised according to their role and the hosting and email providers identified below may access the data necessary for their tasks.
Retention period
If the enquiry does not result in a contract, we retain it for 12 months after the last substantive communication and then delete it. If a contract is concluded, data required for contractual and accounting records may be processed further for the periods prescribed by applicable law.
Automated decision-making
We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling based on applications; every business enquiry is reviewed by a person.
Website use
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or reCAPTCHA
The website does not carry out marketing profiling, advertising tracking or behavioural analytics.
Server logs
Technical log data—such as IP address, timestamp, requested resource, browser and device information—may be generated to operate and secure the hosting and website. We use these data for troubleshooting, abuse prevention and information security and retain them for no more than 30 days, unless a security incident justifies longer retention.
Strictly necessary local storage
The website may store settings necessary for its operation—such as the selected language or colour theme—in your browser. These settings are not used for marketing or profiling.
Supporting providers
Our providers may process personal data only within the limits of their agreement, our documented instructions and applicable data-protection requirements.

The provider supplies website hosting, network infrastructure and related technical services and may therefore access technical log data.

The provider technically transmits and delivers emails connected to applications and correspondence and may therefore process recipient details and message content.
Processing outside the EU
Because we use Resend, certain email data may also be processed in the United States. Transfers take place only where appropriate safeguards are in place.
You stay in control
To exercise your rights, email info@e-distribution.hu. Before fulfilling a request, we may verify your identity to the extent strictly necessary.
You may ask whether we process your data and request information and a copy of those data.
You may ask us to correct inaccurate data and complete incomplete data.
Where the legal conditions apply, you may request the deletion of your personal data.
In certain cases, you may ask us to store your data without using them in other ways.
You may object, on grounds relating to your situation, to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where the conditions apply, you may request data you provided in a machine-readable format.
You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and seek a judicial remedy.
We respond without undue delay and, as a rule, within one month. For complex or numerous requests, this period may be extended by a further two months under the conditions set out in the GDPR.

We use technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risks to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
